The 4th annual Super Bowl Party is in the books. Thanks to all those who came out and made this night possible. We had over 25 adults help supervise this event and serve all the great food we had. Even with all the snow we still had over 100 youth attend. These youth are always looking for something to do, and we offer them that something their looking for. The best thing is we get to share Jesus with them, and several are enjoying it. By the way Congrats to the Saints “Who dat”.
Just another reminder to all of our great supporters about our upcoming events. The first one is this Thursday, February 11 at Wendy’s in Dublin. From 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wendy’s will donate 15% of their sales to The Rock. We will also have a bake sale (we need bake good items donated) and have door prizes and giveaways throughout the night. Bring your family out for some food, fun, and good fellowship.
Mark your calendars for March 27th and 28th and plan on being a part of a special weekend. On Saturday March 27th we will hold our 2nd annual Benefit Dinner at Central gym. This year we will be doing a few things differently and hope that you can be a part of this special night. Bruce Deel will again be our keynote speaker and we are excited to have him and his family here for the whole weekend. With that in mind keep Sunday morning, March 28th open for a special Sunday morning Community Worship service starting at 10:30 am at Central Gym with Bruce bringing the word. We are very excited to see what God is going to do this weekend. Please consider being a part of this special time. You should be receiving something in the mail in the next couple of weeks giving you all of the information for these events.
Continue praying for The Rock, as we are going deeper with our youth, and pushing them harder in their commitment to the Father. When this happens there is a great chance we could lose a few who are not ready for this type of commitment.
